i had a guy tell me we havent had any rain for weeks...it was april. And he wondered why i was cutting every 6 days....welll...we got rain over the weekend and its SPRING!

man people hate these big zturns. ive already picked up 3 accounts from people saying they HATE these sitdown mowers in there yards! I dont see the big friggin deal.

One old lady told me that there was a root in her yard near the gate entrance and she didnt want it to break my mower. i checked it out thinkin it would hit the blades....it was barely sticking outta the ground. (gotta love the old people)

I had a lady 2 years ago call to complain about my new guy not doing a good job on the mower and wanted to know if I would do the mowing and he could do the trimming since the trimming looked good like usual. Then I told her I was the only one that used the mower. Her next comment was do you think you could get him to ride the mower because he missed alot of areas when he was trimming.

Also had a lady call after I hired a guy this year complaining about spots that had been hit with the trimmer on her siding. After explaining to her that they had been there for the past 4 years that I had been cutting the lawn and that I had pictures from when I did the initial estimate it was no longer an issue.

Years ago I got fired by an older lady that insisted on fertilizing her own lawn with a drop spreader. She would stripe the hell out her yard when she fertilized. 2 or 3 days after mowing the lawn, the striped parts that got fertilized would grow way faster than the rest of the lawn, she canned me saying I was only mowing half the lawn!

over the last 3 days we had real heavy rains every night, some yards have standing water in them. i had a woman that i mowed for on saturday call and complain because i didnt cut and trim around the trees that were in corner of the yard. i told her that there was 2-3 inches of water on top of the ground for about 15-20 feet around them. she still cant understand why i didnt cut and trim around them.

yep, had a woman tell me that i must have put the dandelions in her yard cause she never had them in the past. tried to tell her that 1. you had me stop fert and weed control 2 years ago cause you couldnt afford it and 2. the vacant lot to the west of you is covered with them and every time the wind blows were do you think the seeds go.
nope not good enough i had to put them there so i could charge more to come and spray.

a new"LCO" did that at a local fast food restauraunt around here but they burned the lawn, nice 20some inch brown stripes up and down the lawn.

this old lady and i mean REALLY old lady dropped me last week because my mower scares her dog... and my walk behind is no louder than any other walk behind ive heard.
