A good price for a regular lawn.

I live in Conway, AR. I am starting a lawn service. What is a good price to mow a lawn, just mowing?

If you would have read my title it said a regular lawn. Meaning flat, small with few trees.

Claws,
What is your standard rate per hour? What is your mode of cutting.......pusher, ZTR, belly mount?? How many obstacles are you facing on this lawn and are there hills?
After you have done a few different lawns and learn the time needed for each, then you can factor in your hourly-base rate for a particular lawn..
In Arkansas you do not have to charge tax on mowing unless you are selling a product with it and of course, unless you are doing commercial and industrial properties.

OHHHHH... a regular lawn $84 here. Some guys get $85 though. All of our regular lawns are at least 75,000 square feet with 12 trees, 2 kidney beans, 1 100' stone wall and a 20 degree incline on the 21,000 square foot front lawn. People pay weekly and we are all rich. Any more questions?

Come on now you guys, stop yanking his chain,he just needs to know how much he can charge for a regular lawn, you know, flat with no trees, simple enough question .So far Topy gets $46.75 +tax,Mike gets $30-$40, and netpatsfan gets $84 because everybody is rich where he lives. Can't somebody help him, he's getting confused because of the wide range of prices. Most houses by me sit on 50 or 75 x 100 lots so with the garage and driveway the actual lawn is small,we get $20 -$35 per cut depending on trimming time.Hope this helps.
