Pavers Around A Pool

Hey folks,

Has anyone seen Unilock Brussels Block Sierra, around a pool area? If so, how does it look?

Was also considering Techo Bloc Athena Champlaign Grey. Thoughts?

Any other recommendations for a $3-$5 per sq feet stone (brand, style, and color)?

Thanks!

Who are you?

Are you wanting to be a paver contractor or are you a home owner?

This is for a home project. I also do landscaping work for friends though. Not full time by any means. Just a weekend or 2 a month when a project comes up...just because I enjoy it.

It's all personal preference, just as the clothing we each choose to wear.

As far as color, only you can make that decision.

Here is a picture of Athena

Here is a photo of Techo's Santorini. Not a very popular paver. But I think it turned out beautiful, myself, the home owners, and many of their friends love it. Closer to the $5/ Sf price. Depending on the square footage (over 2000 SF), you may possibly get it for less.

Very nice! Thank you! Hey...do you know what kind of coping is in the picture with Athena? Goes well with it! Also do you know if that's that Champlaign Grey or Sandlewood Athena?

The Santorini pic is nice too! Thanks!

FWIW...The project is 600 sq feet of stone. The other 800 sq feet will be landscaping and a 10X12 cabana and a 400 sq ft deck. I've got the site fully excavated. Replumbed the pool lines. Had an electrician come in and run a new line. This weekend starts the compaction and base work.

The coping with the Athena is flagstone (Pennsylvania Blue)

The color is Sandlewood (for both pics).

ummm Platinum, i don't know how you install pavements in canada, but in the united states we typically do not compact pavers until 100% of the pavers have been set into place. Notice in the photo - there is still a long way to go before compacting......

Here is one we did in sandstone with the brussels fullnose coping. I think sierra would look great, but always take into consideration how much sun the areas will get. This particular area the sierra pavers would have been blazing hot. Great product though to use nice and soft on the feet around a pool.
