Walker muffler ?

I,m going to replace the mufflers/exhaust on my Walker.[97GHS w/ 25hp Kohler] Previous owner[s] put baffles on the ends of both pipes and its just too loud.

Question is, is my only option Walker or can I put a system on from Kohler? Going through a dealer I,m looking @ roughly $275.00

Examples below

Thanks for any help

No anything that fits a kohler will work kohler brand or after market for kohler. The muffler is not a big deal all companys use almost the same thing some just mount differently dont be afraid to try a muffler for a briggs or whatever.

My 8-5 job involves repairing lawn mowers and i figured since i repair them I can mow and make a little extra and not have to worry about equiment problems and i get a nice disscount on parts

Those muffler in the pic came off a 11 to 12.5 briggs and statton and some of the k series kohler motors up to 14 hp and they were all non ohv bet they are extremly loud those usually burn out in like 100 hours

these are no different from a car you can take it to a muffler shop and they may even be able to help you. Looks like you got enough room to fit a midas muffler in that thing

Those are not 'baffles,' those are standard Kohler mufflers,
whether they pertain to that engine I could not tell you but
my 20hp Kohler has them.

The question being, how do we know it won't be JUST as loud?
