Walk-Behind
What am I looking at paying for a 42-48 inch commercial walk-behind? Trying to decide between buying a walk-behind, or another commercial 21. Can i find anything for 2-3k? zero experience with wb's.

I think you could for sure. A belt drive with low hours would be easy for 2k. That is pretty much any brand too, if you just look. A hydro may be a little more, but it can certainly be done. I think you could find a top of the line hydro(floating deck, elec start, kawasaki engine, non pistol grip controls, etc) with low hours if you look at the off brands. Gravely, bobcat, bunton, lesco, etc are all great mowers for the most part if taken care of. I have done the 21 thing. GET A WALKBEHIND. IT WILL PAY FOR ITSELF. why not split it in the middle for a 36inch? that will be simple for 1500 to 2000

you can find a walk behind anywhere from 800- 5k. depends on the model, age, etc. I have a stand on and I would recommend that. Maybe look into Wright stand on, Everride, Gravely.
