Keep your head up, you'll get good accounts.

I saw that below you stated you were hoping to get a couple accounts, even this late in the season. I just started myself this month and have got 4 clients just this week. You've got to take advantage of the free marketing tools on the internet. Also, once you get the jobs, ask who was servicing them before if anyone, get the details if you can. I was lucky and got a call from a guy who said his lawn guy quit, he got a different conventional job and didn't have time to mow anymore. I asked him if he would mind giving me the guys name and number...I got a nice sized cleanup job from the guy that he had started but couldn't finish, and landed a contract from the homeowner. From what I've been told fall is a big money maker around the midwest with leaf jobs, I'm in IN and I'm looking forward to Oct-Nov. HAPPY MOWING!
