It worked out surprisingly well for such an afterthought to a system that itself was a rework of an ancient system that contained an "undiscovered zone" that forced the redesign of all the new zones, in order to match the flow of the old zone.

100psi poly tho is not needed. 80 will do fine.
I use Irrigation 2000 poly pipe and have never had a problem.
Used to use red stripe poly but switched over 6 years ago to I-2000 , half the price.
$60 for a 400ft roll of 3/4", $50 for a 300ft roll of 1".
I use 3/4" poly and just split it with 1" to minimize system costs.
can run up to 14gpm on 1" and up to 7gpm on the 3/4" without any noticable problems.
