rreyn, how do you like the new ztrak you have and how is the titan at pulling a load everyday? do you keep both mowers on the trailer all season?

The Ztrak 830, at least the one I have, has been very good. Perfect-NO!, but then I doubt any mower is!! I have had a couple of problems, but I have 230 hrs on the mower and had it for just over a year, and all issues have been taken care of completely, quickly, and at no cost to be by my local dealer. I know there are other opinions about this mower, and that is OK.

The Nissan Titan is great for pulling a load. No problems whatsoever. The engine has 6-bolt mains so the engine will hold together through just about anything. MPG is what is indicated on the sticker, 12 mpg, in normal day-to-day driving (stop & go). If you baby her on the freeway, you can get around 18. Solid truck. Probably other opinions here too!

I leave the mowers on the trailer, when I need space in the garage, and when I'm not doing work on them. We have about 4" of snow on the ground right now, and the Ztrak is on the trailer, covered with a very heavy duty tarp, but the 21" mowers are in the garage since I was doing some work on them getting them ready for the season. I start the Ztrak up and run it for about 10 minutes at least once a month. For all mowers I start treating with gasoline stabilizer about 3-4 weeks before the end of the season to ensure it gets completely through the fuel system.

Yeah ive always been a chevy and john deere man i was thinking about either a titan or tundra for the future. figured i could get more miles out of them and more mpg also. but about the ztrak i love my 757 but they dont make them like that anymore and ive heard alot of bad stuff about the new 800 series. ive used one of the estate series in the 500s and there complete pieces of crap. im scared about buying one of the new versions hopefully mine will hold on for a few more years till they get all the kinks out

but then again i hope business triples this year and i have to buy 5 new ones to keep up!! but with all of this rain and snow weve been getting business is extremely slow right now i cant even give quotes right now. how do you feel about your stihl trimmers?

They have been great! I've had the FS90 for about 3 yrs and never a problem. I've had the FS110 for about 1 and 1/2 yrs and it's a little more "touchy" but no real problems. For all around use, I would pick the FS90. I also use the FS110 with the chain saw attachment and that works great too.

Whats up my fellow arkansans. Down here in central arkansas, hope everyone on here is still freakin alive after the hell of a summer we've had. (pun intended)

I'll tell you what, i sure am glad i don't do lawn work anymore. i truely feel sorry for you guys having to do that day in and day out this past year. It was brutal on me and i would see the 1 million and 1 trucks riding around with mowers, better him than me, i'd think.

so seriously, who's going to with the game this weekend. **my disclaimer: i used to be a die hard hogs fan until nutt came along. then i lost faith. I think petrino is a great coach, did a lot with the program at louisville, and can hopefully bring in some nice recruits to rebuild the house out of nutts.

I am rooting for the hogs but think the tide will end up winning it. I'm a huge cfb fan, and AL has a tough offense.

lets hear the predictions...
