Toro 21" Personal Pace Mower Repair question

This might be a stupid question but does anyone think this is worth trying to repair. I would think the only way to repair this would be to aluminum weld it? Any suggestions or should I just trash it?

you could weld that. You might have to reinforce it with a plate of aluminum and drill another hole. Aluminum is not very strong when butt welded and it is cast which makes it weaker to begin with. Find a guy with a mig welder set up to do aluminum and I bet it would be pretty cheap fix.
