If I can mow at age 91 I will consider myself a lucky guy.

Does using the accelerator eliminate the dust and debris flying around the operator? That is my reason for considering a catcher for our 54" hustler super duty. I am not concerned with catching the clippings as much as stopping the crap flying around me.

It depends on what the source is for the dust and debris. If it is from front blow out, adding a catcher vs just letting the clippings fly is not going to help. If you have a lot of dust in the discharge with the clippings, the dust is going to go through the catcher holes and still be a problem. We do have a dust cover kit to prevent this as an option. I believe we are the only catcher manufacturer who offers this.
Cutting grass with a powerful mower does move a lot of debris around. I don't think this can be completely eliminated, unfortunately.
