my lawn is dead
I had a few questions, my lawn is patchy bermuda and mostly dead. it comes around in the summer and gets a little green, but growth was still very slow and the weeds come up faster than the lawn. i think the lawn needs areation and de thatch, but i need a pro to come check it out.
is there anyone worth while in north atlanta area? also, i was interested in trying out the dormant seeding with bermuda seed. is it worth my time to try to bring the lawn around? thanks for any help! |

If you want Bermuda, wait til spring. In the mean time, clean up the weeds with a three way selective herbicide. Then do a soil test and correct any problems that are revealed by it. I'm sure in a urban setting like Atlanta there is somebody decent. Unfortunately for you, I'm in Richmond!

I think what's most important is why is your lawn dead? If it's because of lack of water, you may face the same issue next year.

Or is there alot of shade trees? Bermuda thrives in sunlight.
