Price Check - Aisle 3 - 2007 ASV SR80

Hey All.

I have a line on a:
07 SR80, cab, heat, hyd quick attach, 20" tracks, 1100hrs, self leveling, 72" bucket.

I have to inspect it again, but I saw it a while ago, and it looked in decent shape. Tracks are kinda worn down, and lots of chunks off the idler wheels.

It has had it's axles replaced with the beefier ones some time ago. Used by a landscaping company, and regularly serviced at dealer. Being traded in on a new PT80. I will be buying from dealer.

So, what would be a decent price for this, cash out the door?

Did that include vasoline?

10-15k max is what I would pay. Good tracks are 4k, bogie wheels are a damn fortune, and asv's resale value is about the same as a turd.

I think it would be worth around 30k ish like someone else said. I haven't come across ASV tracks yet for 2k a piece I thought they were more. As far as the bogies the chunks missing is just cosmetic. They will work fine. Bair has the aluminum ones now to so maybe in the future you could look into those.
I didn't hear you mention AC. Mine is still for sale. LOL Don't let they ASV haters bring you down. 98% of the crap that comes out of their mouth is propaganda they heard from salesman from other brands.

over the last 3 years we have clocked 300hrs each on the new PT60's and never touched the uc except for tracks at 2000hrs. I love it when the bobcat and tak sales guys sprout their propoganda.
I take it in till there is a crowd listening, thend drop my experiences with the ASV product and support and they shut the F#^k up right there. They are hanging on to the old RC model stories.

LOL must be be the same everywhere. I had a DEERE salesman tell me I'd have to do my Under carriage at 800 hours the other day. Did he see my machine? No. Just typical salesman BS. I told him my friend has has almost 2k hours on his and only replaced one idler bearing. He told me he has never heard anything like that before. I followed it up with saying his tracks will most certainly see 3k hours. I know he didn't believe me but what can you do. Keep circling the bowl in DEERE skid steer land D bag.

I am not trying to bash, but I will share with you my experience.
This past spring, I got an opportunity to demo a few machines one of which was a SR80. I had it for a couple of days @ a job site.
First off, It drove really nice and had moderate power.
Other than that, It wasn't the machine for me. I had about 90 yards of fill to
spread out. It did not have the guts to spread out anything. Once the top sprocket filled up with mud, it didn't want to move.+ it was a pain in the a**
to clean out. Then it started to smoke near
the undercarriage.
Next day, I found a puddle of hydro oil leaking from the undercarriage.
Took it in, and the mechanic said that this is a common problem.
Basically the hydro seal deteriorates. Mind you, it had only 134 hours of use.
I really do think that these machines excel well in spreading "screen dirt"
and "snow removal" that's it.
BTW I did not buy the machine. I bought another brand and I have never been happier.

Cleaning out the near the sprocket is a pain especially with just a hose but a must in my opinion. The new style is open like on the Cat mtl's. I will be the first to admit and I've said it before. If I stick the bucket into a wet pile of material it won't lift it rght through the pile like some other machines may. I'm not sure f it's how ASV balances these machines or what but ther are better lifters out there in my opinion. It is however the ultimate all season machine. I don't think anyone can argue that. Every machine has it's weakness but to listen to the the bull that always gets flung about these track systems is ridiculous. I just don't like the usual blanket system that goes with the ASV brand. Damn you haters!
