Hey are any of you guys using CPS as a distributor? They are about the only game up here in WY. Just wondering what you think, or if you are using DBC, etc. Nice to see the Rangers supported by the way!

Brian,

I was using DBC before I left town, pretty much exclusively. I had a couple hiccups with CPS on some time-sensitive orders that didnt quite make it, so I had a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Always good service with DBC, at least at the Loveland branch. Prices were on par, if not good.

We have a CPS here in the Springs. They are good, but they are inconvenient for me due to location. And they haven't done anything out of the ordinary to win my business. Never even called me up to sit down and talk. Never get mailings from them for classes/seminars or sales.

Same with DBC. Location is inconvenient, never get a call to see what they could do, never get sale or class info. And the store manager lives ACROSS THE STREET FROM ME. Good people there though. I can call the manager late in the day and he'll bring home parts if I need them for first thing in the morning.

They are the only dist. here in Casper, so they don't have to go out of their way to do too much to get your business. Just wondering if it was different on the Front Range. Thanks.

Well, either CPS reads this forum, or you tipped 'em off. Received an email today about their training classes, and got a call today also from one of the sales reps.

They must be reading then because I don't know any of them in the Springs. Could be a weird coincidence?
