I think the plastic cowling on the front is to direct air flow around the truck to be more streamlined. Otherwise it gets trapped and increases drag.

Those are lockout hubs on the front.

Beautiful truck. I have been tempted by these new F250 Fords. However, my old 97 Powerstroke is still looks and runs like new. I just can't convince myself that I need to start making truck payments again, especially when those payments would probably be $600-$700/month.
Sure do like your truck though. Congrats.

Keep the 97...I was going to bid on a 97 Supercab w/44,000 miles on ebay, But I contacted the guy and he wants $21,500 for it!! I figure they must be collectors items or something!
