Hey this is the trailer that was at Fiser's. I looked at the Big Tex ones again today. Man thats a nice trailer but I'll promise you that Texas Bragg is built a LOT stronger. It has 5" channel, all the rods coming off the fender wells are thicker. The chains and hinges on the box are way bigger. The ones on the Tex look like they go on a cabinet. But that trailer you have will last 10 years what else do you need? Congradulations on it. I'm going to buy this one or the black Big Tex just like your's next week.

Well I picked it up yesterday. I love the side gate. Going from a 12 ft to an 18 ft. is really great. And electric brakes are the best thing since spam.

I'm pulling it with a 1/2 ton GMC, does just fine. It will stop just perfectly and the trailer brakes aren't in use yet, because I don't have a brake controller for my truck, I'm taking care of that tomarrow.

Congrats! It sounds like you got a good deal.

Post some pics when you get it fixed up the way you want.

Congrats on the new trailer! Good thing you are getting the brakes hooked up. It may seem like no problem to stop now, but, trust me, wait until you get it loaded full of mulch. Does it have sides? Be careful of how much mulch you put in there, pulling with that 1/2 ton. I pull my 16' with a 1/2 ton. No pic? I'd like to see it sometime.
