De-thatching and marking sprinkler heads...

Will a front mount spring tine de-thatcher damage sprinkler heads? I know you need to avoid the heads while aerating, but don't know about de-thatching.

Thanks,

Joel B.

No. I have a JRCO 60" on one of my Ferris WB's and I have never had a problem. Aerating? Now that can be a problem like you said.

I don't mark the heads with a jrco tine dethatcher. So far I haven't damaged any. If I see one that is up high, I will go around it though.
