Split gate on trailer

I'm thinking about modifying my trailer gate cutting it down the middle and making it two fold down ramps. I think it will make the gate stronger and actually easier for my guys. Also will add a latch in the middle so it can fold down as one. Just trying to be easier and more efficient.

Thoughts? info? experience? thanks

Split gate is much easier. I have the optional latch too.
Sometimes you need a split gate and when you don't jist drop the latch. I only drop one side for my z-spray and walkerS...

i second that, I've done this to a few trailers. if i can recomend anything though. is make sure the latchs are in good shape. because they will vibrate and bounce a bit more. ive snapped pins that way. after some modifications and bigger pins, havent had any problems since.
