When I was looking at my '06 Sierra HD, I took it to a mechanic in the town where I bought the truck. The mechanic told me to avoid the Triton V10 at all costs. For what it's worth.

I would love to know why he said that. I loved ours and it never gave us any serious issues.

I agree. Like people saying, "Oh man, I worked at (random auto place) and we had twice as many Fords come in as anything else." Yeah... that's because they SELL TWICE AS MANY so there are twice as many on the road, hence you're bound to service more of them than anything else.
