Ok to put weed killer on fesue now??

I am New here. I live in Georgia, north of ATL. I have Fescue in my back yard and Bermuda in the front. Weeds are coming up pretty good in the Fescue as the Bermuda has none. I seeded the Fescue in the fall (october). The weeds have a purple looking top. Can I apply a liquid weed killer to the fescue? I was told not to put pre-emergent out until mid march?!? I thought I needed to apply pre-emergent now.

Any help would be great, plus what kind of weed killer and/or pre-emergent should I use?

I think the weed is "Deadnettle"

The weed is likely henbit. With the temps low you should be fine to spray now. Are you looking for a professional product or are you looking for a home depot product?
