Takeuchi problem?

Hi all.

I have just changed over from my faithful Komatsu SK815 and bought a Takeuchi TL130. The issue that I am having is that I use the machine a lot for Harley raking. I am finding that when I am running the auxiliary lines that I cn loose positive control over the loader function. For example when Harley raking or using the 4 in 1 if I go to adjust the loader arms, for example pushing the joystick forward to lower the boom, the boom almost appears to go into float. Sometimes the controls get lost altogether and pushing down will actually result in the boom rising.

On the Komatsu with its closed loop hydraulics I never had any issues with loosing priority over the controls when operating the auxiliary lines.

Now my question is, Is this normal with the Takie's and open loop hydraulic systems or is there a fault with mine. If I have a fault, does anyone have any ideas what it might be?

It's normal, mine does that too, if I open my grapple/combo and try to lift the loader, the loader will stop, but on a continuous flow for a sweeper and my brush cutter, it doesn't happen, and if you lower the loader, the attachment speeds up.
There's 2 buttons on the left side below the pilot control, a yellow and green, push them both in, and that will turn the aux. function into a 1 way detented flow with a return to the tank, then you can use the harley rake and not lose loader control.

I had the same issue with mine when using the brush cutter, use the one way flow like Ron is talking about and it will make it better.

My Dad thought the foot pedal was the throttle, he asked me why the engine was labouring so hard when he had the pedal to the floor and wouldn't get above idle.

haha wow I bet those aux. lines on the side were screaming at those couplings

Still am planning on it, but damn it to hell, the calls are still coming in, and it seems like the more I want out, the more calls I get and the more work I have to line up.
I have 2 days of concrete prep work lined up in 2 hours, the gravel pits here finally got their belts thawed out.
