Digging bucket for a TL140
I am in need of a tooth bucket so what minimum width is acceptable? Or rather, how much clearance is there generally on a ctl?
The stock bucket is 80" and the machine is 70" wide. Is a 72" bucket cutting it too close? The reason i ask is that there are several used 72" buckets around. |

The wider the bucket the less likely dirt and rocks will roll back into your undercarriage and wear it down.
Too wide and your machine will struggle with putting enough traction behind the bucket to dig. |

I can measure mine but I wish it was bigger. LOL
I would go 80 inch if possible. You will need a good bucket as the TL140 has good breakout and sometimes those smaller buckets are made for smaller machines. |

Wider is better, but I still prefer a bucket that is 2" wider than the machine, just in case you need to get into a tight spot.

Overall, or 2" wider per side?

2 inches per side would be nice.
