I bought a 48" hustler trimstar in 09. I do not have any complaints. Mulch kit on it too and does well.

Got one last year, after trying out it and all the comp. Great on the mega hills and rough terrain I operate on, with its monster tires. Controls are very intuitive, and you can somewhat one hand operate it. Price is good. Deck is adaquate. Fine in dry grass, but if you regularly deal with damp/wet grass look at the scag.

I agree with the mulching kit leaving trails when the turf is wet but when the turf is dry and you have the mulching kit on it, the cut is as good as any walker cut. Controls are easy to use and it just is a good all around mower.
