Shot some video of stump removal on my property today. Hated to cut these down, but wisteria vines on these trees were over 6" in diameter.. could barely see the tree for all the ivy & wisteria.

The insides of two of the trees were home to thousands of carpenter ants.

The video is from the smaller of two stumps. Didn't have time to mess with video on the big stump.. it was all I could do to pull it out of the hole.

Here's pictures of the second stump.. there was a water oak and two sweet gums grown together at the base.

The stump was bigger than the machine (IHI 55NX). Finally drug it out & put it out of the way.

Nice work! Yikes that one stump is big!! How long did it take to get it out? If you don't mind me asking.

Thanks. The smaller one in the video came out in about an hour, the big one took about 2 hours.

Probably a lot safer than the way I removed a huge live oak stump from a friend's farm. It involved fertilizer and other things packed in a hole bored in the stump...
