Is your turf better than your customers' turf?

I have a few customers in my own neighborhood and I always spend extra time on my own lawn to make sure it looks best. Whenever someone in my neighborhood is interested, I am always sure to point out my house. It helps to exemplify how well I can manage turf, and I'm sure it has gotten me accounts because of it. The only problem is some people will say "Okay, now I want my lawn to look like that!" Do you treat your lawn the same, worse, or better than your customer's lawns? I know it's hard for some guys to get paid all day to mow other people's lawns and then have to come home and cut their own for free.

mine is the same as all my clients for the most part. i mainly work for the upper middle class and above.

of course, i am crazy about my lawn man. i use it to test out things before applying them blanketly

i mostly get the comments when someone sees my personal lawn of "what do you do to that, it looks awesome" .

I generally treat mine the same as the others as far as fertilizer, but I also will throw fungicide on mine and sometimes Milorginite and Ironite. I have lawns I do that are nicer than mine, but not many, lol. I definately have the nicest lawn in my neighiborhood, which doesn't take much in my hood, haha. I still enjoy working in my yard when I'm not taking care of all the others.
