"Spray and Forget" moss removal product
I heard of this product called Spray and Forget to kill moss and algae from roofs, siding, decks etc. Has anyone used this and could tell me your opinion? So far I've gone through their website and talked to suppliers who rave about it. It looks quite easy to use and theres no scrubbing or anything. Like the product says, just spray it on and let it do its work.

I thought that company was a big pitchwitch fan, not me.

Results can be had much faster with a chlorine based solution. No high pressure (pitch with or otherwise) needed.
(I'm trying to get my signature working - sorry!)

In the "inner circles" if you will, this product is commonly referred to as "Spray and Regret". Big Pitch Witch fans, totally not necessary, and the raves and praises for it are simply because most don't know any better. Not being abrasive, just honest. there are much more efficient roof cleaning methods available at your disposal.

Thanks to all that responded to opinions for the "Spray and Forget" roof cleaning product.
As a landscaper in the Vancouver, BC ( Canada ) area, I diversify in all areas in exterior residential maintenance and roof cleaning seems to be an untapped market up here. I want to know the best and safest environmental product to use that doesn't use high pressure water on roof cleaning. precisionpower; Can you let me know what the cleaning product you use for your roof cleaning? And is it applied with a low pressure machine or other sprayer and then rinsed off? Also how is pricing determined? Per square foot or estimated time spent? What is the average house size cost? |

We apply with diaphragm pump, never rinse off, price by what it takes per hour for US to be profitable, and I wish there was an average in this business!

You wouldn't need to rinse it off anyways, with all the rain we'll be getting this week.
