All over the board on pay and benefits. We have guys from $9-29.75 per hour paid time off etc.. 29.75 is for guys that do government jobs and are paid prevailing wages. (must be nice)

Meets -

I down graded my wages this year. My $18 / hour guy went to work for Fed-Ex, so I'm bumping my $12 / hour guy to $15 this year, making him crew leader.

After that I'm going to hire 2 ft guys at $10 / hour, and depending on the work load, hire 1-2 more pt guys at the same $10 / hour.

Strictly maintenance.

We have only full time guys here part time is to hard to keep track of when and who. But for Minnesota i cant believe a guy would leave U to work for FED haha we have guys here that can handle jobs from start to finish from home base Wisconsin all the way to Wichita Kansas for the same pay rate of $18 and has been here for years. I start everyone at $8.50 an hr you want more go ask OBAMA or sell drugs. My average emp. working here is 6 years.

I flopped over to Plowsite for the winter, now I'm back, although there isn't alot to say other than what I've already said in my previous 4,229 posts.

I too have my wife helping me, and a new neighbor that moved in across the street who's a teacher and looking for work in the summer. Those'll be my part timers.

I still have the one guy from last year, and his buddy was shoveling sidewalks for me this winter, who's done landscaping for the last 4 years for a competitor. However, the buddy is getting passed up for a promotion and he's pretty ticked about it.

He'd have to take a $3 / hour pay cut, but he's mad enough he might do it.
