Midwest clean-ups

Just like the other post for the NE. This is for the midwest.

I just finished a cleanup. BIG MISTAKE taking this one. Way underbid this one! Live and learn I guess. This lady hadn't done any clean ups in at least 2 or 3 years. last years perinals were so thick and the new ones were coming up around them. The thorns on the bushes kept snagging me, what a nightmare!

She also wan't the beds turned over and a sharp edge put between the bed and turf. this also was never done. Seeing that i yet have anything for this type of work besides the trusty hoe, shovel, rake. My back hurts, my hands hurt. aghhhhh.

Thank goodness i have no more of those and am concentrating on cuts now only.

I think we have all had a few of those type of cleanup nightmares. Toss in some swirling wind to make it worse. One more reason to do a better job in the Fall, it makes the task much easier come Spring.

Hopefully this bidding oversight will pay off throughout the rest of the season.
