slice seeding

new to this whole thing sorry for all the questions
can I slice seed (over seed ) a soccer field now and still play on it I can not alow for any down time of the fields. They are used for school baseball out fields

The good thing about spring baseball is that there are only 3 people in the outfield. they can't kill it all. I would seed if it is needed. I would only seed with try rye in the spring since it has the best chance of success.
