help with lesco walkbehind

hey guys, i need help with my mower. i have a 48 inch lesco hydro walkbehind with a 17 horse kawasaki motor. I have put new belts and blades on the mower this year and still can't get the quality of cut that i think i should. the mower seems to push the grass over more than it does cutting it, especially in thicker grass. there are two sets of holes on the deck and the mower is set up in the top holes. should i put it in the lower holes? any more ideas on help with my quality of cut would be appreciated. thanks!!!!!

First check to make sure blades are not upside down. Yes, it can happen to the best of us especially when you mind is full of other stuff.

Next check you deck level and pitch after you make sure your tires are properly inflated. The back of the blade (closest to rear of deck) should be about 3/16" to 3/8" higher (depending on blade length) than the front of the blade.
