Never thought of it, but maybe I'll sigh up. Get them to do all my accounts for one month and just sit back and take it easy

Back when I needed alot of clients, I had thought about offering my current clients 1 free mowing with a referal, referal must be a year contract, and would not offer that after May. I never had to do that though.

Actually it is not a charity. But rather a promotional offer and can be written off as advertising expense. If the guy is making it up on the front end then he is doing ok. If not doing those free lawns could get pretty depressing in July and August.
