sencor burn on tifway

i am new to ballfields, my "field" is st aug., palms, shrubs etc. pest control and fert.
Have been put in a position to oversee spraying of football fields. Tech is spraying for goosegrass etc. with sencor/msma mixture. Using high rate and shocking the field then just msma for follow ups. Question is can I do partial apps and not get singe with sencor and still get control?
How about some of your rates?
