Should I keep a 10yr old Deere or sell for something newer.
I'm not sure where I stand on this one. I understand usually older models were built to last much longer than newer, esp from companies not known for their quality, but I have this LX255 from 2000, which I assume isn't old enough to have that "dependability factor" even though it still runs great.
It's got a 15 HP kohler motor in it. I got the tractor free when I bought the house and see them selling for around 1k used. Everytime I visit the big box stores, i see the shiner new tractors with fancy attachments and feel like im missing out. Is this true? Should I sell this deere for something newer, or just keep it cause it's built to last. |
