Need Help. New Trimmer?

I am looking to buy a Kawasaki straight shaft string trimmer 34.4 cc KGT35B. Has anyone had any problems or good comments about this type trimmer. I have never owner Kawasaki handhelds? Seller is asking $250, new out the box.
Thanks

Know nothing about this particular trimmer, but Kawasaki is known to make very reliable and CHEAP product. well, really is not cheap, it really depend on how popular is the brand in your area. In my area, Stihl is not popular at all in my area, you can get a steal with stihl, price you won't believe. that does not mean Stihl is cheap as you can see here. How wrong can you get for a 30+cc for less than $260. You easily pay $400 for one from another brand.

Kawasaki is good.

It is not 34cc. 36cc Honda is $359 cheapest.

Thanks for the reply. Kawasaki's trimmers, I do not see much of in this area, but that is not to say they aren't here? Have a Kawasaki engine on WB mowers and it runs great. So I was wondering if the trimmers are just the same.

do a search in this forum. the KGT27 has a lot of praise. I have the Maruyama BP that is the same as Kawasaki KRB750 using Kawasaki engine and has been very good.

Just because it is cheap don't mean they are less. You are going to save lover $100 compare to most other trimmers of this size. more like $150.

I have a KGT27B, and the older KGT27A, and they are both very good. Never had any problems. I prefer the 27A, but the new strato-charged 27B is fine too. I just turn the choke lever on about 1/2 way while throttling at the same time, and no warmup problems. They both have LOTS of power for the engine size. I can only imagine the KGT35B. That has to be a beast. Go for it.
