That's what I started to realize. It just looks so much nicer after the second time you go over it. Plus the checker board patterns look awesome(IMO)

I do the checker/crosscut pattern on all of my good lawns, makes for a smoother cut.

I mow the same direction for 2 weeks then change it up and go another direction.

Same some of the lawns i dont even bother, because they just dont stripe as well or there are just more weeds than actual grass

I agree and do the same, thats what our company strives for as well, and it is paying off. I cannot believe how many compliments we get from local companies saying that our accounts look gorgeous! I myself don't mind spending a little more fuel money and making the account look better. Works for you in the long run. Keep up the good work!

We have almost 70 accounts. mix of Resi and commercial.

I also double cut because i cant bring myself to only mow once and make it look just "ok" im wicked detail oriented and will mow it as many times as i need to to make it look the way i want it to look.
