Solar Landscape Lighting
Can you guys help me out a little?
I spend a lot of time on the Pesticide forum but when it comes to landscaping I don't have any experience at all. Just looking for some help on selecting solar lighting for my personal landscape beds. Any brand better then another? What should I be looking for? I am tearing out my electric ones and want to replace them. Thanks guys! |

I hate solar lights.
But if you want some good advice lighting wise, then I would go to the lighting section and get their advice, those guys know their stuff, hopefully you won't be berated there.......

The words"solar" and "landscape lights" should never be used in the same sentance. Low voltage lighting is by far the best way to go. The light output of LV vs. solar is very dramatic. A good, quality LV system will last 30 years, probably more.

There is no effective Box store solar lighting. It is all a gimmick for folks that enjoy throwing their $ in the toilet.
Low volt done 'the right way', not the 'HOME CHEAPO WAY', will yield you very long lasting and far more pleasing results than anything else. |
