is there another way to replace a blade on mclane edgers
Bought it used for $100 and today I found out why it was so cheap. I can't replace the blade because the place the allen wrench goes is stripped out. Is there another way to go about doing that

What did you learn about this deal
Never buy used crap Cant you weld a nut on end of the bolt then you will be able remove the blade

Take the belt off the pulley and grab ahold of the pulley groove with 12" Knipex Cobra pliers. That will
hold the shaft still while you loosen the nut that holds the blade on. The replacement part you need is: #2033 Cutter Head Pulley & Shaft Complete |

Not sure what you are talking about the allen wrench.
Just drop the blade to the engaged position, put a 3/4 inch socket on the impact gun and let it rip. |
