I did have the cable inside of the spring. Stupid cable kept comming out and binding the spring. So, the cable had to go. I'll just be risky and lift from the drivers side.

I can lift the ramp now with one arm. So, about 10 average arms.

Here is the reason for the hinge design. I don't want to pull a parachute if I don't have to.

Here is the first taste of the reflector tape. I've got about 40' of it!!

Here is the welder that has done all of the metal melting. 1 tank of c25 and 10lbs + of wire....and counting.

To do list- Wire tail lights, low and high. Put in marker lights on the drivers side. Install tie down points. Put on final coat of paint for side rails and side of bed. Figure out a filler neck. Take radio out of f150 and put in van. Vinal on the doors and hood. Build the box on the front for grass. Make locations for fuel cans and tools. + about 30 things I'm not thinking of right now.



There ain't to much left...but the crappy part is that I'm off to head out and mow. Thanks rain for messin up my sat!

bet that thing will bottom our REAL easy! Nice fab work though.

Even if it does bottom out, it wouldn't be hard to just disconnect it from the bed and shorten the dove-tail.
