DOT requirements?
Hi I just bought my first 1 ton dump, I live in the Minneapolis area and bought the truck from a guy out in Boston. I am flying out to get it this weekend, and I'm wondering what dot requirements I might have to deal with being that its being driven 1400 miles across multiple state lines. Any information would be helpful. Thanks!

i called the dot here and they directed me to the enforcement SGT. at the weigh station.
since you are crossing state lines i would contact every state you will be in. each state has funny rules. here if you buy fuel in one sate and they charge 35cents road tax, you have to pay the difference to La. when you travel thru here.
