yeah chiken wire is definetly not an option. pond is just to big and high profile. Not sure what he has into it total but the foot bridge alone is a $20k slab of granite. Im gonna pull out a pro c this afternoon and play with it and see what i can do with it

Keep it simple, connect the heads to a main line pressurized all the time and just install a ball valve to turn it on and off as the homeowner desires.

Is there a dedicated "anti-critter" zone around the pool? If there is, a Rain Master remote (for most RM clocks with a permanent receiver) will fire that zone and "pause" any other zone that's operating. The clock will return, automatically, to it's timed runs after the remote shuts down. Sounds like a cool thing to do from your lawn chair.
