Trailer brakes work great....as long as your wiring is properly connected! Just yesterday an employee noticed our brake lights were not working on our 7x16 enclosed trailer. It was nothing more than plug not pushed in far enough on connector. No connection...NO BRAKES! New policy: double check lights first thing in morning and at lunch.

Our enclosed trailers have brakes o one axle.
Brake controller in truck, and breakway(required in fifty states) In Michigan any enclosed trailer of 3000 must have brakes, and breakway. The fuuny thing is, with the brakes on our trailers, we can stop faster with the truck, and trailer, than with the truck by itself.
