Pythium Blight/fungus/mold ???

I have attached pictures of what is going on in my lawn. Hoping someone can recommend a remedy...

Googling a description of it seems to turn up Pythium Blight (grease spot) as a possibility?

I want to go to JDL today to get something to fix it but i have no way to bring them the pictures so hoping to get some ideas here!!
thanks!

OK, Where are you located? What is your turf (lawn)? You are correct; it is Pythium Blight Fungus. Here is a good site for corrective techniques, practices, and chemicals: http://www.turffiles.ncsu.edu/diseas...um_Blight.aspx Mind you that you should have proper equipment to apply these. Usually a high pressure system to get the fungicide down to the soil level. Take note: these chemicals can run $$$$ and it might pay to just hire a pro in your area to apply to the whole lawn. Truth hurts sometimes.
