Weeding estimate

I have a customer who ask us to weed every beds around his house. It took 8 hours for a 2 man crew to get everything done.

The customer told us to do the work and he told us that he was going to pay us when he will receive the bill.

What price would you guys price for this kind of maintenance?

We have been cleaning all beds and aerating mulch also thats why it took us alot of time

I charge $40 per hour per guy, so that's 80 per hour combined for 8 hours that's $640 dollars Plus tax.

I know this is the wrong answer in the buisiness sense I have a hard time charging a customer full price for weeding. My man hr is 30-35hr but i usually charge 25 man hr for weeding, it just seems to easy to pull weeds.

Pulling weeds is hard work and doing it well and quickly takes skills. I charge my regular hourly rate for weed removal.

If the OP is asking how much to charge, then he does not have the experience to charge the hourly rate that a skilled and experienced crew would charge.

So, there is no telling what a fair price would be or how long it would have taken an experienced crew to do what took two guys 8 hours.

Maybe you should ask your customer how much the job done is worth to them. At least that way you will be able to work for them again.
