I used some pretty long line cords back when it was Imperial Valet controllers.

Exposed line cords are a piker indication.

Some of my locations didn't even have an outlet to plug into.

There was always a fallback power source, however piker-ish it was to use it.

I'm sorry, but I don't see how it's any different than a 110 cord plugged in all the time for a toaster, tv, lamp, food mixer, computer or anything else. These ain't mega mansions papa.
