Tim i know a couple guys who work for the brother of mmc. anybody cut in the rain today? it was raining when i left it was raining while i cut and it was raining until 10 minutes after i got my tonneau cover back on my truck. I also managed to find an alternative for my lesco throttle issue and my setup kicked the bucket at the beginning of a job yesterday. If the scag idea works i'm really in business lol

I cut a small yard at 8:30 got wet but got it done. Went home dried out. Went to dentist at 11am. Cut another small yard at 1pm. Went to movie with my 17yr son - Horrible Boss's. Pretty good movie. Cut one more a 4:30.
All in all a good day.

Do they work for Aarmark Land Management? MMC's owner and the owner of Aarmark (brothers) were in business together as Platinum Land Management, then the two brothers got into it and split the business and they don't get along anymore. Kinda sad, really, but it happens a lot.

If not Aarmark, then I think another of the owner's brother's owns Cranberry Supply.

I was down in Monroeville and it rained most of the day. We sat in the trailer for like 20 minutes at about 10am when it was storming and downpouring, but the rest of the day we just worked in the rain. I'll be honest, it was really nice. It was nice to work in the rain instead of the blistering sun.

The McClymonds own Cranberry Supply. Is that the family that owns MMC?

No...but it could be one of the managers or drivers at Cranberry supply or something like that. I was never really clear on that. All I know is that every time I'm around an MMC truck and that older Cranberry Supply Mack, the white one with the red body drives by, the driver always waves and honks. Somebody said once it was the owner's other brother or cousin or something.

McClymonds is such an enormous company every time I turn my head there is another one of their triaxles. Even all the way up by my camp towards Erie you see them on a regular basis

Definitely have seen them around quite a bit, on 228 and 19 mostly.
