How much rain did you folks get late this afternoon?

Rain started here about 4:45, and lasted for a couple of hours. The gauge has about 0.50". Rain on Friday, mid-morning dropped about 0.65".

We need rain, badly. Some of the lawns today were hurting, and I expect to skip them next week. We will be skipping others later this week. I know one large one will be skipped tomorrow, and expect others.

I actually gave the manager at Crafton CVS one of our cards because one of his business associates said how nice the place looked. The weeds at those places are always out of control, and I bet that dang storm at 430 washed out all the round up I sprayed in the morning.

I was in rain from 4:30 until 6, but I don't really know how much we got because I was in Robinson until 5 and got to Cranberry at 6, so I was pretty spread out.

I don't know much about them Tim. the underpowered truck will work for now until i get the 48 grand for that chevy dumptruck i want. I think the ground is so baked that the water just runs right off of it. We need a steady rain for a couple days or nights.

Thats good! I dont ever remember the, pulling weeds and such last year are you guys required to do it or do you just decide to do it if you have the time? Doubt it that stuffs usually dries fast and is good.

I think we only have one account where we don't pull weeds. We're required to pull everywhere else. I try to keep my places top notch...working towards more pay!

gray clumps but once it dried up a little no big deal. but it had all this roots through it and i tried to pick out most of the big clumps but then i got attacked by this little ass ants lol. luckily the customer just wanted that pile used up over by a pine tree that i planted some hostas and a hydrengia (spelling?). the project was quite an under taking i had to take our tractor up and tear out ficus bushes with it then put down topsoil seed starter fert and peat moss then i put that plastic edging she had laying around planted the plants and spread the mulch. I've been working at her house since i was 13 and we never run out of stuff to do.
