All in one Weed/crabgrass/sedge control
Hi Friends:
I just got a new customer with a lawn about 15k sq feet that is mostly all broadleaf, crabgrass and nutsedge. What kind of weed control cocktail are you mixing in order to kill it all in one shot? |

Is Solitaire part of your program or do you charge for it? I show it costing about $5 / 1000 SF in material.

Best to not mix them. Costly; spot spray is better and you don't waste nutsedge control if there is no nutsedge problem in certain areas. Same for Drive. Add surfactant. At most mix Drive and Trimec. And don't plan on good control at this time of year. Good chance you will need additional treatments.

Spot treatment of all weeds is included for all my customers.
I pay $125 for 16 oz of solitare. At .367oz per 1000 sq I can't treat an acre with it. It's pricey and it works. The only problem is if the turf is stressed from heat it will burn it. Posted via Mobile Device |

@WestGAPineStraw How many applications can you do with a 16 oz jar? I'm also guessing you mix it with water.

I can treat aprox 43,500 sq ft. Whether is at .5 gal of water p/k out of backpack or 2 gal p/k out of skid. Its not a regular product that I have to use. A good pre in the spring handles most of my crab grass. Its used for new customers and priced accordingly.

Q4 works pretty good knocks the sedge back but not a total kill. Works good on many other weeds too.
