Question about trucks, trailers, and CDL's

This is the deal. I'm thinking about a new (used) truck with a dump bed to pull a 17' x 83" trailer with.

I have been thinking F350 with a dump bed, but I've started thinking I might be better off with an Isuzu cabover type truck with a dump bed. One with about the same payload capability as the F350. It needs to have a shorter, rather than a longer wheelbase because of parking / storage limitations if possible. Longer isn't a show-stopper if that's all that's gonna do the job, but shorter is gonna be much much more convenient.

I'm not familiar with these kind of trucks except that I see a lot of them. Can you guys help me out with an overview of Isuzu trucks? Which one is smallest, and would it be suitable to pull my trailer, with equipment in it, (call it 6000 pounds total?) and carry a dump bed full of compacted leaves? Also I need to carry three people in it, or four if possible. If the smallest one won't work, what's the upgrade?

Also at what point in Isuzu cabover trucks does a CDL come into play? I need to know this 'cause I don't have one.

Just from what reading I've done I think I'm looking at an Isuzu NPR, but I'm not sure. What's next after that?

Can someone suggest where to look for a used Isuzu truck that meets these speks?

TIA
