I have a diaphram by Lesco (solo) for 6+ years..no issues. I like the piston since it works good on powders (drive etc)...If it dies, I toss and buy another.

Tony, do you mean backpack or skid sprayer?
He is right--you need separate sprayers for weeds and shrubs. If you are a professional, that is.

I have one piston sprayer - in service - for the past 10 years. I only changed the piston/rubber, and plastic knuckle once. The straps have been replaced a few times. Had to take it out of service because it developed a crack from sun exposure. I will probably JB weld and put back in service. I bought the new diaphragm one last year. It know has a leak in the diaphragm.
