I've never been hit in the face at all running a thatcher before, or pressure washing.

But have been hit in the eye several times driving with a window down in my truck by specks or insects.

Do you recommend safety glasses for people who drive motor vehicles with the window down? Do you drive with safety glasses if the windows are down?

Just curious, because I have not seen safety stickers in cars for that, but see the risk equally as great or greater than mowing without safety glasses.

Running a pressure washer with out glasses is just asking for eye injures. My PW is 4000psi and I have been hit by flying objects coming off wooden decks and equipment. I wear eye protection any time I run equipment.

Yes, at that pressure I could just imagine the splinters flying off like shrapnel.

They could fly like wood in a tornado.
