I am sorry I just don't think that a MPR belongs in the same class as a RB/Hunter VAN spray.

For one a RB VAN spray can go from 0-360 while MPRs have relitively small ajustment windows. i.e. 90-210, 210-270.

A rotor also has a varible arc, so why dont we just call any head that isnt a fixed nozzle a VAN? BC it makes no sense that is why, and it is easy to communicate with crews when you call Adjustible sprays VANS, multi spreams MP's, and rotors...well rotors.

All right, you got me sucked in: a VAN is a crappy adjustable spray nozzle. A MP is a Stream nozzle, though adjustable per nozzle choice, it's much like the brass versions I used years ago, except it rotates. O.K.? Both have their drawbacks/ pluses and should be researched before being put into service, like any other head, come to think of it.

Back to the OP, the dreadful double dip. I'm afraid to look at my IRA's. I believe that our industry is strongly tied to the economy as a whole. I nervous about what the future will hold. Now is the time for our President and Representatives to lead our country, make the tough financial decisions, and steer us toward a bright future. All I can do is cross my fingers and pray for the best. Or bend over as kiss my future goodbye.
